Just a little bit about what's happening this week with the baby's development...
Hudson weighs about two and a half pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures about 15 inches from the top of his head to his heels. He can blink his eyes, which now sport lashes. With his eyesight developing, he may be able to see the light that filters in through my womb. He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world. (from BabyCenter.com)
My next doctor's appointment is this Friday, so hopefully we'll keep getting good news (and another good picture)!

Tate was born at 27 weeks - weighing 2lbs 7ozs - which is great but babies do lose just a little after birth so he dropped down to 1lb 14 ozs! I am so glad that Hudson is big and strong and wants to stay exactly where he is at- for now!!! :o) Thanks for keeping us posted and know that you are constantly in our prayers!!! Love You!!
ReplyDeleteyay!! keep on growing little hudson!!! i'm still praying for you!!! ben & i found out 2 weeks ago that we are expecting baby #2 on feb 15. we were super shocked b/c we were not trying! but we know its such a sweet blessing! how are you doing on bed rest?
